became the Executive Director of Long Island Arts Alliance (LIAA) in 2010 following a 26-year career in public television journalism and as an Emmy Award winning producer of cultural arts programs. Theresa joined LIAA board members in a targeted effort to renew and rebuild the Alliance to better serve the arts and arts education communities. In just five years, the Alliance has successfully built upon its core arts education programs and launched the first island-wide collaborative effort to celebrate the region’s arts, culture and community. Launched in 2012 during National Arts and Humanities month, Arts Alive LI’s October Arts Month celebration is an island-wide multi-venue festival and on-going website ArtsAliveLI.org

Theresa is a 2006 graduate of The Energeia Partnership of Molloy College and she serves on the Advisory Board of the Long Island Index.
