As the only one of its kind on the North Fork, Alex Ferrone Gallery had its beginning years exhibiting and selling contemporary fine art works by mid-career and emerging photographic artists. Now in its ninth year, the Gallery has expanded its repertoire to include paintings, mixed media and sculptural works. Contemporary fine art admirers and collectors enjoy opportunities to meet exhibiting artists at special events including receptions, luncheon Gallery Talks, and educational workshops - both in-person and virtually.

Owner and Director, Alex Ferrone has organized and curated numerous on- and off-site exhibitions for the Gallery over the past eight years, and has successfully represented works by noted artists. The Gallery runs the gamut of varying artistic styles and photographic techniques exhibited - from traditional black & white works, solarplate etchings, and abstract and surreal pieces, to alternative photographic processes including nineteenth century techniques, photograms, and cyanotypes.  Images produced by artists using varying substrates such as wood, rice paper, and metal have also been shown in the Gallery, as well as a hybrid of mediums including digital technology, paint, and encaustic wax. More recently, the Gallery has successfully presented paintings, sculptural and mixed media works and will continue presenting additional mediums.
