The Babylon Chorale is a vibrant, intergenerational community of nearly 90 singers united by a shared love of choral music. Founded in 1950, the Chorale has become a cherished musical presence on Long Island’s South Shore, performing everything from classical masterworks to Broadway hits and contemporary favorites. With a strong commitment to learning, excellence, and inclusion, the Chorale provides a welcoming space for singers of all ages and backgrounds to grow artistically and forge lasting connections.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director Jared Berry, the Babylon Chorale presents three concerts annually and has appeared at iconic venues including Carnegie Hall, Westbury Music Fair, and the Bay Shore Arts Festival by the Bay. Their collaborative history includes performances with esteemed groups like the South Shore Symphony and Eglevsky Ballet Company, along with costumed productions and cabaret-style showcases. Whether singing locally or on tour, the Babylon Chorale continues to enrich the cultural life of Long Island while staying true to its roots in community, tradition, and joyful expression through song.
