WHEN YOU GIVE A GIFT TO LONG ISLAND ARTS ALLIANCE, YOU ARE SUPPORTING MORE THAN ONE ORGANIZATION.
Your gift, combined with the gifts of others, provides us with the resources we need to empower multiple organizations, programs, and initiatives that enrich our lives and enhance Long Island for all of us.
With your support, we can continue to strengthen our community’s creative spirit. Your gift - large or small - helps us do our work to ensure that these organizations will continue to be here for you, your family, and your community.
Contributions to LIAA help us keep membership fees affordable and provide essential funding for networking, professional development programs, advocacy initiatives, and member services aimed at promoting and nurturing a vibrant cultural community across Long Island. Your donation will fund programs like those mentioned above, while also ensuring the future of the arts on Long Island is protected through our continued work.
The Alliance prides itself in our efforts to support the arts by successfully fostering community ties among our region’s nonprofit cultural organizations. Never has this been more important than in the aftermath of the pandemic. Throughout 2021, organizations of all sizes and disciplines looked at us for guidance as they navigated the unfamiliar terrain of dark stages, shuttered venues, and virtual performances. Aligning our programming and focus with community need was paramount. While we continue to develop creative and effective ways to address the sector’s most vital needs, we tirelessly work behind the scenes to help arts organizations and artists thrive.
2022 will be a pivotal year for LIAA as we look towards the future. We are excited to announce that we have been selected as an official study partner of Americans for the Arts for the Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 Study to showcase the direct impact of the arts industry on our local economy. This will provide our members, community, and local government with an accurate quantifiable economic impact report of nonprofit arts and culture organizations and their audiences. This data is vital in the conversation between organizations and funders, grantees, members, and the general population. This, along with other planned initiatives that align with out strategic goals, will support the arts and culture sector for many years to come.
Your gift provides essential operating support that allows LIAA to forge a path forward and help restore the rich vibrancy of Long Island's arts sector, making our community a better place for everyone. Support the arts on Long Island today!
Help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 by making a secure donation on our website or by mailing a check made payable to Long Island Arts Alliance to our temporary remote office: 19 Thorne Street, Patchogue, NY 11772
