The Coltrane Home seeks to inspire and educate by providing a tangible link to a period of deep creativity and transformation in the lives of two great African American artists: John and Alice Coltrane.
The John and Alice Coltrane Home preserves and promotes the artistic and spiritual legacy of the Coltranes through the ongoing restoration of the Home and the creation of an educational workshop series serving all ages.
Our mission lives in John Coltrane’s own words, “………to be a force for good.”
Their vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of artists and musicians to develop creative processes. They are dedicated to making a better world, more spiritual and more humane through the transformative power of the arts.
