COVID-19 Arts Impact Survey

Arts and entertainment venues across Long Island were shuttered in mid-March 2020 because of COVID-19. Governor Cuomo’s New York on PAUSE halted productions, canceled exhibitions, and performances, and left many artists and those who work in the arts and creative fields out of work.

LIAA, through support and funding from the Long Island Community Foundation  conducted a survey to understand the impact COVID-19 had on LI's arts and entertainment sector.
